Supporting Our Local Charities...

We offer our services FREE of any charge to our local Not for Profit groups based in Western Australia as part of Trade Away’s commitment to our local community.

 How It Works
Organisations can use Trade Away to conduct online auctions to fundraise. Supporters and sponsors can simply donate items to auction on the site. Or other examples of how this can work for our local organisations is to auction Charity Ball tickets, donated Sports Memorabilia, Weekend getaways etc... Get creative!

We issue 'Charity Members' with their own special 'Sign In' details. This enables these organisations to exclusively list items for free and displaying the Charity icon, (shown above), with all listings, making these easy to identify as fundraising items to supporters and other Trade Away members.

Addtionally we offer space within our website for organisations to post advertising to promote auctions statewide among our Trade Away members. Organisations can also get more creative with their databases, sending links asking your supporters to check out what they have to auction on Trade Away!

There is a simple application process to get the ball rolling, and absolutely no hidden fees. We are happy to offer assistance to get a Charity Auction up and running, and go through the process with an organisation representative.

 

 Reverse Auctions
We offer our unique Reverse Auctions to Charities for fundraising; these are lots of fun and represent a new and unique way to raise money for your organisation.

Reverse Auctions are similar in theory to to a raffle; however these auctions sell the opportunity to guess the lowest unique bid and just like with a raffle they pay an admin fee per bid/guess.  No Fees For Our Local Charities
Trade Away will assist an organisation to set up an account in our system. Trade Away will credit an organisation’s account, and re-credit when needed. All listing fees and success fees will be covered by this account.

Organisations will be issued with a password, a trading name will be chosen by the organisation, this is to be used solely in conjunction with fundraising activities only. We ask that there be a key person for us to liaise with regarding your activities on Trade Away.

 

 Why?
We believe that our local Not For Profit groups need all the support they can get!  Trade Away has chosen to donate this very viable fundraising service to all our local organizations for FREE, basically because we wanted to, simple as that.

As residents ourselves of Western Australia it is part of our commitment and company philosophy to give back to those who support us. We believe this is a credible and viable opportunity for organisations to generate revenue to assist with their good work. In particular our rural Western Australia's Not for Profit groups, as these often have a tougher time raising funds due to their remoteness and supporter numbers. We hope to assist these groups achieve a wider supporter network via Trade Away.
