How do you get know the seller?
Always check the feedback rating that appears beside the item listed, it is located by the user name of the seller in the left hand column. A high rating shows that the trader has completed many trades successfully and received positive feedback. 100% positive feedback speaks for itself.
Feedback is displayed on the site so that everyone can see how other members rate other traders. Our feedback rating system is vital to the integrity of the Trade Away community, it helps members assess whether members are reliable to trade with. As Tradeaway is exclusively for Western Australians, and we hope all members will become Address Verified, which secures this site even more. This involves us verifying a member's address by sending them a letter, on the post. The member then confirms they have received the letter by entering the code attached which activates their trading account new status. Members who have done this will have the 'Address Verified' icon next to their username, a little house. This helps to validate the person you’re trading with.
Ask Questions
Only Tradeaway members can ask the seller questions. You will see on each listing there is an open box to post questions.. The seller will be notified by e-mail that a question has been asked. All questions and answers pertaining to an item are listed together in the email and are also posted below the live listing. We also notify members e-mail when a question has been answered.
Questions and answers must be about the item for sale, and may not include, or ask for, any e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, links to other websites or any other contact details. If you are requesting to view an item, we permit contact details to be posted, and ONLY for this reason.
