Fees for Reverse Auctions are significantly different to that of other Auctions on Trade Away. Make sure you read the rules of the game and understand how to play before place your bets ladies and gentlemen!
How much to Play?
Reverse Auctions are a stand alone auction. They are different to all our other auctions on Trade Away and are not available to be listed by our members.
Trade Away will facilitate these auctions on behalf of our local Charities as a fundraising service. Imagine they are a bit like a raffle. Trade Away will also offer items from time to time because they are so much fun!
The admin fee charged to play 'Reverse Auctions' will vary, these will be based on the retail value per item being auctioned.
Items $0 - $1000 = $1.00 Admin Fee
Items $1000 - $5000 = $2.00 Admin Fee
Items $5000 - $10,000 = $5.00 Admin Fee
There are no other fees involved for Reverse Auctions. If you're the winning bid, the item will be won based on the lowest UNIQUE bid guessed. The winning bid amount is not deducted from your trading account and there are no success fees to be paid.
The administration fee per auction will always be made very clear in the actual listing. The admin fee will be directly debited from your Trade Away account each time you place a bid.
