How It Works
West Australian organizations can use tradeaway to conduct online Auctions to fundraise. Simply ask your supporters to collect items that you can then sell on the site. Other examples of how this can work for your organisation is to auction off your Charity Ball tickets, donated Sports Memorabilia, etc. Get creative!
We issue Charity members with their own special 'Sign In' details, this enables organizations to exclusively list items that will show the Charity icon with listings. Making these easy to identify as fundraising items, to supporters and tradeaway members.
We offer our unique Reverse Auctions to Charities for fundraising; these are lots of fun and present a new and unique way to raise money for your organization. Reverse Auctions are similar to a raffle; however these auctions ask supporters to guess the lowest unique price of an item. An admin fee is charged per guess. Reverse Auctions
We offer space within our website for organizations to post advertising to promote auctions statewide among our tradeaway members. Organizations can also get more creative with their databases, sending links asking your supporters to check out what you might have to Auction on tradeaway!
There is a simple application process to get the ball rolling, and absolutely no hidden fees. We are happy to offer assistance to get Charity Auctions up and running and go through the process with a representative.
No Fees for Our Local Charities
Tradeaway will assist an organization to set up an account in our system. We then credit an organization’s account, and re-credit when needed. All listing fees and success fees will be covered by this account. Organizations will be issued with a password (a trading name will be chosen by the organization) and this is to be used solely in conjunction with fundraising activities only.
Why?
We believe that our local Not for Profit groups, need all the support they can get! Tradeaway has chosen to offer this great fundraising tool to our local Charities at no cost because we wanted to, simple as that.
As residents ourselves, of Western Australia, it is part of our commitment and company philosophy to give back to those who support us. We believe tradeaway offers a credible and viable opportunity for organizations to generate revenue, to assist their good work.
We also hope, in particular, to assist rural Western Australia's Not for Profit groups. These groups often have a harder time raising funds, due to the remoteness and supporter numbers. We would like to support those groups achieve a wider reach with tradeaway.
