Tradeaway operates pre-paid accounts for all registered members, any fees you incur on Tradeaway are deducted from your pre-paid account. Click here to learn more about Fees To ensure you can list and sell items we suggest keeping your trading account in credit, we require a minimum account balance of $10.00. If your account goes below this amount you will not be able to list/sell items, this rule protects both members and Tradeaway.
You cannot use the funds in your Tradeaway account to pay for goods you have purchased on Tradeaway.
How to credit your Account
Go to your ‘My Account’ click on ‘Credit My Account’ enter the amount you wish to have in your account, there is a minimum trading balance of $10.00.
Choose which method suits you:
Pay via Internet Banking – (Our preferred method payment) MAKE SURE YOU STATE WHO IS PAYING give your NICKNAME or email as the person depositing.
By Credit Card online – (Currently we can only accept Master Card and Visa)
Pay by PayPal – (Transfer from your PayPal account to accounts@tradeaway.com.au)
Pay by Cheque – (Subject to normal bank clearing times)
You will be asked to confirm that you understand your account can only be used for placing listings/success fees. It cannot be used to pay for items purchased on this website.
Credit card payments credit your account instantly so you can resume trading immediately. All other methods need to be cleared by Tradeaway. Internet Banking and PayPal payments should be deposited into to your Tradeaway account within 48 hours if not sooner. Cheque’s are subject to usual Bank clearance times and can take up to 7 working days to clear.
Pay via Internet Banking
This is the easiest way to credit your account, simply enter the following details:

MAKE SURE YOU STATE WHO IS PAYING when you deposit online give your NICKNAME or email address as the person who is depositing.
In your 'My Account' there is a record showing all your transactions. Once your deposit clears (please allow up to 48hrs) it will appear as a credit in your account, if you wish to keep trading do not let your balance go below $10.00.
Pay via Credit Card
We currently only accept Visa and Master Card. Payments made by credit card online are processed through a secure and encrypted connection to protect your credit card details over the internet - directly into the EFTPOS network. The balance will appear in your Tradeaway account immediately.
We use 
www.paymentexpress.com.au as our affiliated Payment Gateway supplier in conjunction with The Commonwealth Bank.

Credit card details are not held by Tradeaway and cannot be accessed by Tradeaway staff. However they maybe held by DPS Payment Express, we suggest you review their Privacy Policy http://www.paymentexpress.com/about/about_paymentexpress/privacy_policy.html
When topping up your Tradeaway account by credit card, you may have the option to "save this card for next time". If you choose this option, your credit card details are encrypted and securely stored by DPS Payment Solutions.
Pay via PayPal 
As so many online traders use PayPal we decided to offer this as a crediting method also. Simply log on to your PayPal account and click on ‘Send Money’ enter accounts@tradeaway.com.au for ‘Services/other’ to credit your Tradeaway account. Once your deposit clears (please allow up to 48hrs) it will appear as a credit in your account, if you wish to keep trading do not let your balance go below $10.00. Paypal Privacy Policy
Pay by Cheque
You can also top up your Tradeaway account by sending us a good old fashioned cheque. It can take a few days for this to appear on your Tradeaway account as we are reliant on postal services and Bank clearance times. Make your cheques payable to Tradeaway Pty Ltd, we accept a minimum of $10.00. If your sending your payment via the post, please post your cheque’s to:

Email us accounts@tradeaway.com.au to notify us you have sent a cheque so we can look out for it. We will additonally notify you when it arrives, and then you will know how many more days you have until it clears to credit your account.
Alternatively if you wish to deposit your cheque in person you can call in at any Commonwealth Bank branch. Our account Details are as follows:

My Payment has not been Credited?
If your payment has not been credited to your Tradeaway account after one week, please email accounts@tradeaway.com.au with the payment dates and method, and all the details. Your username and reference number, the date and time of the transaction, the amount of the payment and we will try to trace it for you. We also suggest you contact your Bank or credit facility immediately.
If you wish to close your Tradeaway account we will refund the remaining balance, less a $10.00 processing fee. If this is requested please confirm your name and mailing address.
