Step 1. 
Become a member of Tradeaway! Then decide how you would like to list your item. You can choose to Auction or sell for a Fixed Price (Classified) ad. If you’re auctioning an item, specify a start price and a reserve price above which you will sell. Get attention for your listing by writing a great Headline; add some good photos and a detailed description and you're halfway there. Remember Trade Away buyers are looking for bargains or something unique. Give them both, creating unique items with excellent perceived value!
If you're listing an item with a start price of more than $150.00 you will need to be 'Address Verified'
Step 2. 
Sit back and watch your auction, or sale. The top ten bids are listed below an auction and you can see how many views your item has received. Answer any questions asked buy potential buyers as quickly as possible. We will automatically notify bidders when they are outbid.
Step 3. 
If the auction reaches the reserve price the item will be sold to the highest bidder. Both the winning bidder and seller receive each others details via email, you then arrange payment and delivery. We also notify bidders who have not won. We do not allow the exchange of contact details till the auction closes to protect the process, but members may post questions to the seller. All questions and answers are displayed next to the listing.
Step 4. 
If bidding meets the reserve or the BuyNow price is selected and your sale is successful you are legally obligated to complete the sale. There are no success fees or obligation to sell if the top bid is less than your reserve price, and there are no success fees for Fixed Price sales. For more information about fees go to view fees.
Step 5. 
Once the trade is totally complete please 'Place Feedback'. It is very easy to do and helps other members see what a great trader you are!
