This little icon means the item displayed is new. It tells potential buyers this item is absolutely BRAND NEW, not a bit new or looks new, but unused NEW!. (Don’t mislead people when you’re listing items.) It is always displayed next to the items Headline.
If your item is 'As New', you cannot use this icon, but feel free to offer this as a discription method in your details.
In the listing process you will be asked to identify if your item ‘New’, click yes or no, when you do this it activates the ‘NEW’ icon to appear automatically with your listing.
We offer this option as people like to search for new and used items independently, and generally just like to know the status of the items they are interested in.
